Hawkins County Party Reorganizes

The Hawkins County GOP had an outstanding meeting January 13, 2009 that reflected party unity. The meeting was conducted by past Chairman, Chuch Holt and Nominating Committee Chairman, Heiskell Winstead. The meeting was conducted in a professional manner and there were numerous comments on the positive feelings that was in the room. The following are the new officers for the 2009-2011 term: Chairman, Cecile Testerman; First Vice-Chairman, William Price; Second VIce-Chairman, Nancy Heck; Secretary, Kathy Cradic; Treasurer, Lois Mayes; Parlimentarian, Ralph Little. New offices will be Junior Chairman, William Phillips, III; Senior Chairman, Frankie Davis and Fundraising Chairman, Judy Fannon.The Party is planning a Valentine Dinner on February 9, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Natural Gas Company. This will be a covered dish and everyone will have lots of fun. Please come and enjoy fellowship with fellow Republicans.
