Congressman Zach Wamp to Keynote Grainger County Lincoln Day Dinner

A tentative date has been set for the Grainger County Lincoln Day Dinner. On Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Rutledge Middle School Congressman Zach Wamp will provide the keynote address.

Hawkins County State Senate Candidate Mike Faulk will also attend. This will be the first area Lincoln Day Dinner after the filing deadline [April 3rd at 12 noon] for State Senate and State House seats so the field of competition will be known at this time and the races will begin to heat up.

Grainger County Republican Women

State Committee Woman Cecile Testerman was the speaker at the monthy meeting of the Grainger County Republican Women on October 18, 2007. She spoke on behalf of Senate hopeful Mike Faulk and Presidential candidate Fred Thompson. This club meets the third Thursday every month at Hardees in Rutledge.
